Recently, the Admissions Council of Yersin High School, Da Lat, directly met with and interviewed students applying for Grade 10 admission.

The interview session provided an opportunity for teachers to listen to the dreams, aspirations, and surprisingly mature thoughts of the Grade 9 students. Many students appeared shy at first, but their eyes lit up as they spoke about their favorite subjects, future plans, or memorable experiences from lower secondary school.

Today’s generation of students is like young seedlings, needing to be understood and nurtured properly. Therefore, the interview is not meant for assessment, but rather for listening, understanding, and accompanying them on their journey.
